NEW EXHIBITION ROOM ON THE TOPIC ERMEN & ENGELS COTTON SPINNING MILL

On 28.11.2020 the well-known revolutionary and theoretician on communism Friedrich Engels would have been 200 years old. He was the son of the founder of the cotton spinning mill Ermen & Engels in which the LVR-Industriemuseum in Engelskirchen is located today. To celebrate the anniversary, the museum has re-organised its introductory exhibition hall. Both the history of the Ermen & Engels factory set up by his father and also the person and the activities of the famous son are focussed on here.
