On Sunday, September 4, 2022, the LVR Industrial Museum invites you to the PapierFest from 11 am to 6 pm. Around the grounds of the paper museum will be fun and games for the whole family: stilt walkers and acrobats will amaze visitors young and old with their magic and clowning. The steam tractor "Bumpkins" will make its rounds and visitors can ride on the trailer.
At the same time the Strundetal festival takes place. The road is car-free up to the spring in Herrenstrunden and walkers, hikers, cyclists and skaters can explore the valley. Numerous activities and culinary delights along the route invite you to stroll.
On the stage of the Café Alte Dombach, the Strundetalfest will be officially opened at 11 a.m. and later there will be music playing. The café offers hearty and sweet treats and at the ice cream truck of the EisfliZZer you will find delicious Italian gelato.
A special tip: come to the museum with your bike. Here you have the opportunity to have your bike cleaned in a fully automatic bike wash (also suitable for e-bikes).
