At the LVR-Industriemuseum sites it is permitted to take photographs for private use without a tripod and without artificial light or flashlight. It is not permitted to use selfie sticks. Filming is also permitted for private purposes but not during a guided tour. As a matter of principle it is not permitted to photograph or film persons unless the consent of the persons in questions has been given (e.g. legal guardians in the case of children). Filming and photographing of museum staff is also not permitted unless prior consent has been given by the staff.
Private publication on private or non-commercial homepages as well as film forums and social media such as YouTube and Facebook is permitted. Please indicate the origin of the films and photographs and if possible generate a link to our website www.industriemuseum.lvr.de.
Photographs with a tripod, artificial light or flashlight disturb the other visitors and endanger the exhibits, therefore a special permit is required. Please direct your request to the department. Communication and Marketing at the museum.
Special regulations may apply to the temporary exhibitions. In this case please also direct your request to the museum. The permit must then be presented to the museum staff when visiting the museum.
