DATA PRIVACY STATEMENT

Compliance with the Data Privacy Statement has top priority for LVR. Therefore it is a matter of course for us to adhere to the data protection regulations. If you use the LVR Internet content, then LVR will only process your data in accordance with the respective requirements of the regulating authority and in line with the legal requirements. The relevant respective regulations include the Tele Media Act and the Data Privacy Act North Rhine Westphalia as well as the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).


Recording for the purpose of Web analysis

To the extent that you have given your consent, we use Web analysis software to determine how many users visit our Web pages and how often. Your option will be stored for a period of use of 90 days. You can change your option at any time in the following section. We do not use this software to record individual person-related data nor individual IP addresses. These data are used exclusively in an anonymous and summarised form for statistical purposes and to further develop the Web pages. The "Cookies" used in the Web analysis are small text data files which are stored on the PC of the user whilst he/she visits our Web pages. These “Cookies” help us to determine how frequently and how many users access our Web pages. In addition they enable us to present our content in the most practical and efficient manner. . “Cookies” required for technical reasons are also included. In this Web page the “Cookies” required for technical reasons are Session-Cookies and Netscaler Cookies.

You have the option to prevent the actions which you take from being analysed and linked. This will protect your privacy but also prevent the owner from learning from your actions and improving the usability for you and other users.

Content from external service providers

We integrate content from platforms such as YouTube, Pageflow or esri (card service) in our Web page. These services are inactive in the standard form but can be activated by the user. These services are subject to the standard data protection regulations in EU and EEA countries. If, for example, you actively use a recommendation button, then general underlying data such as your IP address can be transferred back to the platforms by the embedding technology. We have no influence on the way in which the platforms use the data, possibly to compile use profiles. Please obtain details directly from the provider and adjust your privacy settings there.

The Webanalytics Software used by LVR complies with a "Do Not Track" request and in this case does not record any browser data.

Settings -> Advanced -> Data protection and safety -> In the event of browser access send accompanying "Do Not Track" request

In Browser "Internet Explorer"

Internet options -> Advanced -> Safety -> Send "Do Not Track"-Requests to visited Web pages.


Recording for the purpose of safeguarding system integrity

Every access to this Web page will be registered. Date, computer address and the pages visited will be recorded. These data will be evaluated for statistical purposes and if appropriate published anonymously. To safeguard the system integrity and as protection against unauthorised and illegal use of the LVR Internet content, the IP address generated by your respective page view will be stored for seven days and then automatically deleted.

Handling of person-related data

If you visit the LVR Web pages, then LVR will process data relating to your person within the scope of the legal requirements. Your data will only be processed (collected, stored and used) for as long as it is necessary to provide the services offered in the LVR Web pages. Then the data will be deleted immediately. If you use the LVR Web content, then LVR will only process your data in accordance with the respective requirements of the regulating authority and in line with the legal requirements.
