The Oelchenshammer is on winter break and closed.
Sundays 1 pm – 5 pm
Normal entrance fee: 3 €, reduced 2.50 € (Students, severely disabled persons, unemployed persons upon presentation of a welfare card or another official document), groups from 10 persons 2.50 € per person
Children and adolescents (up to 18 years): Entrance free
School classes (with up to 2 accompanying persons): Entrance free
Refugees can visit the museums of the Landschaftsverband Rheinland free of charge. In this way the LVR wants to help refugees to familiarise themselves with the history and the culture of the Rhineland. To obtain free entrance it is necessary to show an official certificate. Entrance is also free of charge for persons accompanying the refugees (max. 2 persons per group).
The LVR-Museumskarte entitles you to free entrance to the LVR and LWL museums for one year as from the date of purchase.

Please note that dogs are not permitted in the museum. Assistance dogs are exempt from this.

Car
From the A4 (Köln-Olpe) take exit 23 / Engelskirchen then drive along the L302 in the direction Marienheide to the boundary of Bickenbach. Opposite the Remshagener Straße turn right into Oelchensweg. The Oelchenshammer (Forging Hammer) is signposted before the town boundary.
