There are parking spaces directly in front of the museum.
There is a marked disabled parking space on the car park at the museum.
The town bus No. 870 only operates on Sundays. You can get off the bus at the stop “Rheinischen Industriemuseum” (route given above), or alternatively at bus stop “Kuchenheimer Markt” (route in adjacent column). The path from the bus stop ”Rheinisches Industriemuseum” is signficantly shorter than from the bus stop “Kuchenheimer Markt”,but because the footpath is very narrow (approx. 30 cm wide), not paved and difficult to negotiate and because of heavy traffic it can hardly be recommended for persons with restricted mobility, prams and larger groups. Mobile individual visitors can, however, select this bus stop.
Note: The Kuchenheimer Markt is purely a pedestrian path. Along the Obere Burg the road and the footpath are one and the same. However there is as a rule very little traffic.
