One does not need a time machine to make a journey into the past. The LVR-Industriemuseum Euskirchen offers visitors this fascinating experience at the former Tuchfabrik Müller (Cloth Factory). Here one feels as if one has been taken back decades in time. When in 1961 business declined at the factory which had existed since 1894, the factory-owner just locked the doors and left the production facilities as they were.
For almost thirty years it sank into oblivion and then it was re-opened and is today an unusual museum.
It is only possible to visit the historic cloth factory as part of a guided tour.
The LVR-Industriemuseum Tuchfabrik Müller (Cloth Factory) is an anchor point of the European Route of Industrial Heritage.
