Tuesday - Friday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturday, Sunday, holidays 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Monday closed

For school classes the museum opens on request already at 9 am.

Weiberfastnacht (2/8/2024) up to and including Rose Monday (2/12/2024)


Closing dates:

All venues of the LVR Industrial Museum will be closed from 12/23/2024 to 1/1/2025 inclusive.


Admission

Admission: €6 (combined ticket for permanent and special exhibition)

Reduced: €5 (students, trainees, people doing federal voluntary service, people with severe disabilities, recipients of SGB II and SGB XII benefits)


Groups of 10 or more: €5.50 per person (permanent and special exhibition)


Children and Teenagers
(up to 18 years): Free admission

Groups of schoolchildren and daycare centres: free admission (including accompanying persons)


The LVR Museum Card gives you free admission to the museums of the LVR and LWL for one year from the date of purchase. Admission to special exhibitions and events is not included.

1st Friday of the month. Applies to the permanent exhibition only, does not apply to special exhibitions and events.

Tickets for the St. Antony-Hütte (Ironworks) can be purchased at the site or from our Webshop in advance.


Audio-/ Multimedia-Guide

We would be pleased to loan you an audio-guide to take you through the various stations of the exhibition at your own pace.

Language: German

Persons with a hearing disability can undertake the tour individually with a multi-media guide. On the multi-media display a sign language interpreter explains the topics in the museum in German sign language.

The loan of the guide is free. Please speak to our staff at the site.


Dogs in the museum

Please note that dogs are not permitted in the museum. Assistance dogs are exempt from this.
