Admission: 6 €

Groups of 10 or more:
€5 per person

Children and teenagers (up to 18 years): Free admission

Group of schoolchildren and daycare centres: free admission (including accompanying persons)


The LVR Museum Card gives you free admission to the museums of the LVR and LWL for one year from the date of purchase. Admission to special exhibitions and events is not included.


Free admission day for all:

1st Friday of the month. Applies to the permanent exhibition only, does not apply to special exhibitions and events.

Tickets for the exhibition can be purchased at the museum or in advance from our Webshop.

Please note that dogs are not permitted in the museum. Assistance dogs are exempt from this.

From Oberhausen Main station, Bus platform 1 with all buses and tram lines to the stop "Neue Mitte". From there approx. 5 minutes on foot.

Directions to the museum depot

Car

Driving on the A42 (Dortmund-Kamp-Lintfort) take Exit 10 / Oberhausen-Zentrum. Drive on the B223/ Konrad-Adenauer-Allee in direction of Oberhausen. Then turn left into the Essener Straße.

The Peter-Behrens-Bau is situated on the left-hand side. There are parking spaces on the large area directly in front of the Peter-Behrens-Bau Repository and Exhibition Building).
