Tour of the Textilfabrik Cromford (Textile Mill) moderated by Marion Höltermann, Chairperson of the Ratinger Blinden- und Sehbehindertenverbandes

In 2014 Ms Höltermann together with staff from the LVR-Industriemuseum Textilfabrik Cromford (Textile Mill) made an audio-CD using predominantly personally produced audio texts.

This enables blind and visually impaired persons to experience the historic factory and its history by listening. In dialogue with guests and demonstrators from the museum Ms Höltermann describes in detail the historic machines, the working conditions of the men, women and children in the first factory on the European continent as well as the determination and far-sightedness of the entrepreneurial family Brügelmann.
