The Altenberg zinc factory is closed for renovation work. The conversion work is expected to be completed in 2026. More information about the former permanent exhibition

The LVR Industriemuseum Zinkfabrik Altenberg (Zinc Factory) is an anchor point in the Industrial Heritage Route and belongs to the European Route of Industrial Heritage.
