History is so inviting! The historic textile factory Cromford from the year 1783/84 offers the ideal setting for professional as well as private events - from conferences to fashion presentations to various festive occasions.Three rooms and the vestibule are available in the manor house, the former residence of the Brügelmann family of entrepreneurs. In the Hohe Fabrik, the room around the water wheel can be rented for a reception.
Depending on the occasion, we equip the rooms with modern event technology. We are also happy to help with the arrangement and organization of catering, decoration, artistic accompaniment and hotels.
The cafeteria is located in the former vestibule of Cromford Mansion and offers a magnificent view over the surrounding parkland. The space is ideal for smaller celebrations - except for bookings on weekends and holidays.

Between the imposing Water Wheel and the unique Water Frame, there is space for standing receptions in the middle of the exhibition area of the High Factory. The permanent exhibition shows the history of early industrialization using the example of Johann Gottfried Brügelmann's cotton spinning mill.

On the first floor of Cromford Mansion, three interconnected rooms are available for meetings, seminars and celebrations. Depending on the event, one, two or all three rooms can be booked. Daylight is available, the rooms cannot be professionally darkened.

Would you like to say “yes” in very special surroundings? On certain Saturdays, the Ratingen Registry Office performs marriages in the Garden Room.
